What is Meta Mind Alignment?

Created in 2004 by Avinash Ananda and Varsha PG (an internationally renowned psychotherapist, educationist, emotion management expert and life coach), Meta Mind Alignment is a new science of leadership and happiness. It is a behavioral transformation system that enables an individual, team, family, organization or institution to lead themselves, with happiness principles and strategies, to overcome conflicts and challenges and achieve their next level of success and harmony.

It is based on the scientifically proven premise that sustained happiness leads to optimal productivity.

While research has proven that happiness leads to productivity, at both individual and organizational levels, the challenge still remains, that engagement, motivation and happiness are fragile. and not always consistently productive. Meta Mind Alignment is a new science of achieving and sustaining 360 degrees happiness through human potential optimization. This sustained happiness is called Alignment-centered Happiness. It is enduring; pervasive (holistic across roles/tasks/events); internally powered (independent of external stimuli); contributive (people-centric); and optimally productive.

Meta Mind Alignment propounds that the way towards Alignment centered Happiness is by working towards consistent alignment in what one wants, feels, thinks, says, does and knows, which are the basic faculties of every human being.

This results in Alignment centered Happiness, also called 360 degrees Happiness. As the name suggests, 360 degrees happiness is aligned happiness in all spheres of life i.e. material, personal, professional, social, physical and spiritual.

With Alignment-centered Happiness, one also experiences Alignment in their personal, teams and organizational goals; their mind-sets (values, attitudes and beliefs) and behaviors; their own and other's needs; their inner world (mental models, perceptions, interpretation of stimuli) and outer world (environment / reality, the way the world actually works).

Meta Mind Alignment further propounds that Alignment-centered Happiness can be achieved through personal transformation, growth & empowerment i.e. human potential optimization.

The learning interventions designed by Meta Mind Alignment focus on managing mind-sets & sharpening skill sets through a learning approach called ‘Alignment Coaching Transformation System.’

What is Meta Mind Alignment?

Recent research has conclusively proven that enduring happiness leads to increased productivity. Instinctively also we realise that unless we are fulfilled first, we cannot contribute to the fullest; and unless we are motivated first, we cannot achieve to the fullest.

Just as individuals realise the need to be happy, organizations too are becoming increasingly aware of the need to keep employees, customers and all other stakeholders happy in order to maximize productivity and consequently growth. Organizational research suggests that building a culture of Employee Engagement lowers business costs, attrition levels and stress levels; increases speed & efficiency of decisions & execution; and enhances productivity, results and profitability.

Scientifically validated research linking happiness to productivity is growing in the fields of Positive Psychology, Behavioral Economics, Eudemonics, Abolitionism, Hedonic Psychology, Noetic Sciences and recent studies in Neuroplasticity. Countries too are now being ranked on happiness measurement scales like The Global Happiness Index, Happy Planet Index, Gross National Happiness and other emerging studies on overall well-being.

Taking these studies forward, Meta Mind Alignment is based on latest interdisciplinary research from over 450 sources in fields as varied as behavioral sciences, cognitive sciences, psychology, eastern & western philosophies, religion, neuroscience, self-help, motivation, mindfulness meditation, leadership and management practices.

Meta Mind Alignment Learning tools

The Meta Mind Consciousness Framework, Competencies Framework and the Channelization Framework are ideal tools to define, monitor and measure learning objectives. The elements in the Frameworks (individually or in a need-based combination) are offered as customized training workshops.

THE CONSCIOUSNESS PRISM FRAMEWORK

The Meta Mind Prism is a visual representation of the Meta Mind Consciousness Framework. It highlights the various paradigms that encompass one’s world view, the process towards understanding one’s identity and clarifying one’s vision through the FIRST PRACTICES of Leadership.

Crystallization of Philosophy

The Meta Mind Chakra is a visual representation of the Meta Mind Channelization Framework. It highlights specific steps to be followed between Stimulus and Response for effective decision making and focused energy flow. These form the NEXT PRACTICES of Leadership. In this Framework, synergizing and appropriate application of the BEST PRACTICES is the goal.

CHANNELIZATION OF FOCUS

Butterflies in the stomach are felt by the most seasoned athletes, stage performers and soldiers, among others. The trick is to learn how to make them fly in formation. Alignment of capabilities to execution is the process which is needed. This process is the third of the three-pronged strategy of Meta Mind Alignment, and we call it ‘Channelization of Focus’, or being able to perform with THRILL.
